I hope this finds you all in good health and spirits. It's been an exceptional week here!
New Commissioned Work
I was recently selected by the East Mississippi Veterans Memorial Foundation to create artwork which will assist them with raising funds for their memorial park in Meridian, Mississippi. I've been commissioned to create artwork depicting two very special McDonnell Douglas RF-4C Phantoms which were flown by the 153rd Tactical Reconnaissance Squadron stationed at Key Field ANGB in Meridian, Mississippi. One of the planes I'll be focusing on is S/N 67-0438, which was flown by the 153rd TRS from 1979 to 1991. That Phantom is currently in long term storage at Davis Monthan AFB, AZ. However, the organization has obtained permission to obtain the aircraft to use as a very distinctive permanent display at the memorial park.
I'm honored to have been chosen by this veterans foundation to create artwork that will benefit their memorial park!
I'll keep everyone posted on my progress. I'm in the middle of creating the 3D model of the Phantom now. I'll share a few images with you soon. Until then...
